Many of the medicinal plants that are currently produced in the country are either consumed as whole plants with the least processing in the country or exported abroad. In many factories, medicinal plant extracts, after being extracted by solvent, are packaged in the form of juices and liquids and marketed. The supply of extracts in liquid form reduces their retention time and storage, in addition to limiting packaging and export, as well as their applications. In order to provide the necessary infrastructure for conducting research related to herbal medicines, a multivariate research extraction system has been designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned by non-aligned (reciprocal) extraction method.Which has the ability to extract the active ingredients of various medicinal plants. The pilot direction is considered in such a way that from 50-50 kg of medicinal plant can be processed in it. The system is a multi-step process, but can also be used as a one-step process. Parameters that can be examined by this system include process type, number of steps, temperature effect, solvent type effect, process time effect, mass balance and process efficiency.
